His name is “Habibi”
The opportunity I know the sound “Habibi” was when I was invited for dinner by my old Pakistani friend.
He invited me to his daughter who lived near his residence.
His daughter is very good of cooking. Her husband and two children likes her cooking very much.
She specially cooked a lot of menu on my visit.
The table are occupied completely with various dishes.
We started dinner, and I enjoyed asking which kind of spice she put on each cooking.
During the dinner my friend and his daughter talked about the living in Dubai if it is suitable for her and her family, and their conversations were often about how to live and cope with.
Whenever my friend advised, his daughter replied with “Yes, Habibi”, “Habibi, I know it”.. like that.
Habibi is good sound for me, so I asked them “What does it mean, Habibi”.
Then, I came to know Habibi means ‘precious, sweet child, my darling’ and is used in everyday life to call someone close.
One or two years later, I gave a name “Habibi” to my new bird. The bird every day sits on my shoulder or arm and is waiting for my call “Habibi”. Thank you for the unforgettable time with warmest hospitality.
